Apfelmuß / Appelsauce
Ingredients
500g apples (peeled)
1 cinnamon stick
1 tbsp sugar
250 ml water
Method
Peel and core 500 g apples, then cut into cubes.
Bring 250 ml water to boil in a saucepan with 1 tbsp sugar and cinnamon stick.
Add apples and and let simmer covered for 20 minutes until all water is gone.
Blend apples with a blender. I prefer leaving a few cubes unblended for more texture.
